Youth

As the new generation faces new challenges, our work focuses on preparing the youth and having their active participation in our projects.

Most of the projects developed by Kus Kura have an active participation of youth and in some cases, they are the main component of the project, such as the development of Breeding Farms.

Alancay Morales is the youth coordinator and has participated in a series of events, national and international as an indigenous representative.

Childhood

Kus Kura S.C. has done active work with Indigenous Children. On 2006 the first regional gathering of Indigenous Children was carried out at Kan Tan Educational Finca. The creation of the Environmental Space for Children, which is a space for non formal education with children, on environmental issues.

Every year, the members of the environmental space participate in the Christmas Party. This party is a gathering space and an opportunity to help the children of families with little resources.

A team of coordinators works actively with indigenous children at national level.

Spirituality

Kan Tan Educational Finca has various sacred sites for the indigenous people of Boruca. Activities with spirtual leaders, such as the Bribris, Ngobes and Bribris are carried out. Creating a space for sharing and learning from other indigenous cultures.
